Can you tell the difference between the first and last episodes of My Three Sons?
In the very first episode of My Three Sons, the grandfather of the family tells a cosmetic salesman that he’s the closest thing to a “lady of the house” and to “come back when somebody is married.” Little did anyone know the sitcom would stay on the air long enough to see multiple sons grow up and tie the knot!
There were many other changes that took place during the show’s twelve years on the air. It switched networks, and from black and white to color in the process, and introduced not only a fourth son but also a daughter.
